Shell employees at Montreal East refinery reject company offer

MONTREAL - The 350 unionized workers at Shell Canada's 130,000 barrels daily refinery in Montreal East, faced with losing their jobs with the plant's imminent shutdown, have rejected a company contract offer by 86.4 per cent, though unionized office workers accepted by a 52.9 per cent majority.
