OTTAWA – The union representing workers and retirees at Fraser Papers
say the amended Plan of Arrangements to complete the company’s CCAA
restructuring is worse than what the company had presented last week.
TORONTO - Pensioners of insolvent forestry company Fraser Papers Inc. voted Monday to strike down the company's restructuring proposal, saying they could not accept a clause that would absolve the company from any legal wrongdoing.
TORONTO - The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union
and other major creditors of Fraser Papers today voted down the proposed Plan
of Arrangements to complete the CCAA restructuring of the company.
